Plaza Premium First (Hong Kong International Airport) Review:

At time of travel, the Business Class lounge for Singapore Airlines in HKIA was still closed post pandemic and I was given access to the Plaza Premium First lounge instead with my business class ticket. The lounge is located near Gate 1 and offers an elevated experience for elite travelers in comparison to its sister brand Plaza Premium Lounge. Upon entry to the lounge, I was rather surprised by how packed the lounge was, in contrast to the peaceful retreat it was supposed to offer.

C O N C L U S I O N:

As the seating areas were not as spacious, the lounge was at its maximum capacity though I was fortunate to secure a seat with just a slight wait. In terms of the food, I was expecting a more exquisite ala carte dining experience given that Plaza Premium First promises a higher level of luxury and personalized services rather than just essential comforts. Overall, the lounge is still a decent spot to relax though the experience may not be the best during peak hours.
