O V E R V I E W :
This flight would be the second of two sectors for my entire journey on Singapore Airlines upon arriving from Kuala Lumpur. After a few hours at the Plaza Premium Lounge at Changi Terminal 1, I was looking forward to my mid haul flight to Dubai onboard SQ’s Airbus 350-900. As I was traveling with my friend whose birthday was within a week of our day of departure, I pre-ordered a birthday cake as a surprise through SQ’s website via the general help form (https://www.singaporeair.com/get-help/others) which was then promptly followed up by a call within 2 days to confirm my request. Needless to say, I was already impressed even before the flight.

C O N C L U S I O N:

Despite the fault on the air conditioning in the cabin upon boarding, which was compensated by the constant update on the issue by the pilot, it was another great flight with Singapore Airlines. The hard product was great in terms of storage available and the inflight entertainment system was pretty responsive. The special seafood meal that I pre-ordered tasted amazing and so was the birthday cake that was complimentary. Not only that, the cabin crew onboard were amazing which started with a personal greeting by name upon boarding even for Economy Class, they also went above and beyond with the birthday surprise by throwing in some freebies both for my friend and I to make it a memorable and unforgettable flight indeed. These truly exemplifies the commitment of SQ in providing great customer experience and satisfaction, and I look forward to my future flights with them again!
